Vantage API: Pagination

Learn how cursor-based pagination works in the Lokalise Vantage API, including limits, cursors, response metadata, and page navigation.

Lokalise Vantage API list endpoints use cursor-based pagination.

Paginated responses have the following structure:

{
  "data": [
    ...
  ],
  "meta": {
    "count": 100,
    "cursor": "opaque-cursor-value",
    "hasMore": true
  }
}

The meta object contains:

  • count — the number of items returned in the current response.
  • cursor — an opaque cursor pointing to the last item on the current page.
  • hasMore — indicates whether more items are available.

Fetch the next page

Use the limit query parameter to control the maximum number of items returned in a single response.

To retrieve the next page, pass the meta.cursor value from the previous response using the after parameter:

curl --request GET \
  --url "https://api.lokalise.com/vantage/v1/projects/{projectId}/items?limit=100&after=opaque-cursor-value" \
  --header "X-Api-Token: YOUR_API_TOKEN"

Continue requesting pages while meta.hasMore is true.

{
  "data": [
    ...
  ],
  "meta": {
    "count": 37,
    "cursor": "opaque-cursor-value",
    "hasMore": false
  }
}

When hasMore is false, there are no more items to fetch.

Some endpoints may also support the before parameter for navigating in the opposite direction.

⚠️

Important

Cursor values are opaque. Do not parse, modify, or construct them yourself. Always use the cursor returned by the API.

The supported pagination parameters and maximum limit may vary between endpoints. Check the corresponding endpoint reference for details.
